*A note on lye and appearance: this shave soap is a traditional hot process soap that uses two types of lye to react with (saponify) plant-based oils, butters and fats in the creation of soap. While they are noted in the ingredients, no lye remains after the soap has been packaged and cured. I have really sensitive skin and this works so well, doesn't make me all red and burning after a shave. Everything out there for men is strongly scented with all sorts of crap, and I looked a long time to find classic shave soap that wasn't full of garbage ingredients. Lasts a super long time too, love the look of the jar and it's big enough to get a good lather, I will buy more when this is gone.
I use this shave soap everyday. It lathers up nice. Love that it is all natural. I would suggest this shave soap to anybody.
